OUR MISSION

To educate and financially support female creatives of color, with their original content. We support the art of writers, directors, producers, artists, and those creating the content that will drive the entertainment market. Being a double minority in this industry enhances the need for the resources and support that SCC will provide.

#GOALS to provide grants through an application process to members in need of development funding for their projects/ Films.

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM | Spring 2023

We are launching a mentorship program this Spring to educate and create industry opportunities for youth starting from ages 12 & up. This program will have 5 classes where they will learn the 5 stages of production development. After completion of this program, they will graduate with business cards and the tools they need to enter into the entry-level stage of their career.

Summer Internship Program

Graduates of the mentorship program will have an opportunity to work on set in their department of choice and help produce a short film. They will not only have credits on the film to jumpstart their resume, but they will also be able to use the internship for school credits. Throughout this program, they will meet industry professionals and practice networking skills to prepare them for the professional world.
